Conclusion of National Road Safety Month 2026

Udaipur:Under the National Road Safety Month (January 1 to 31), a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized today along with vibrant cultural performances. The event was jointly organized by the Transport and Road Safety Department, District Police, and Aadhar Foundation. The Chief Guest of the program was Regional Transport Officer Mr. Gyan Dev Vishwakarma.
The distinguished guests included ADJ Mr. Kuldeep Ji Sharma; Mr. Rishi, CEO of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital; Mr. Kalpesh Ji, Marketing Head; Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Madan Gehlot; Traffic Inspector Mr. Sunil Charan, along with Mr. Manoj Joshi, Mr. Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, and other eminent personalities.
Representing Aadhar Foundation, Mr. Narayan Chaudhary informed that the program commenced with the famous road safety song “Itni Safety Humein Dena Data”. This was followed by various cultural presentations centered on the theme of road safety, including street plays, puppet shows, dance, singing, and other performances. A key highlight of the event was that serious road safety messages were conveyed to children through fun, entertainment, and cultural media. Important messages such as the use of helmets and seat belts, avoiding overspeeding, and preventing overloading were presented in an effective and engaging manner.
On this occasion, schools, students, and traffic police personnel who actively worked throughout the year on road safety and life-saving initiatives were honored.
Special Announcement of Road Safety Brand Ambassadors
To encourage active participation of children, Mohlakshika Kumari Mewar from Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, Gyanshu Jat from CPS School, and Mahira Kumari from Rockwoods School were appointed as Road Safety Brand Ambassadors. These ambassadors will conduct awareness programs on road safety and life-saving measures in their respective schools throughout the year through various creative activities.
The program witnessed great enthusiasm, with children thoroughly enjoying the event through dance, music, and active participation. The guests appreciated this innovative initiative and described it as highly beneficial for society.
On this occasion, the “Most Safe School Award” was conferred upon Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir and Delhi Public School, while the Rockwood Active Road Safety Participant School Award was presented to Maharana Mewar Public School, Alok School, Ryan International School, Parth Public School, and Central Public School.
