Drug Awareness Workshop Held at Government School 5E Chhoti

Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign, led by District Collector Dr. Manju and District Police Superintendent Dr. Amrita Duhan, a drug awareness workshop was conducted at Government School 5E Chhoti.
Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment emphasized that drugs, in any form, are poison for life. They gradually destroy not only the body but also family, relationships, and the future. Drug abuse is not just an individual problem; it becomes a source of suffering for the entire family and society. He warned that drugs lead directly toward death and urged students to avoid even the first step toward this path of destruction.
At the conclusion of the workshop, students pledged to stay away from drugs themselves and to raise awareness among their friends, family, and community. All participants were given Drug-Free Safety Shield badges. Police Constable Praveen Kumar also educated attendees about cyber safety, the Mann Helpline (1933), and traffic rules.
