Udaipur: The 142nd Bhupal Jayanti celebration was held with great enthusiasm at the Vidya Pracharini Sabha Bhupal Nobles Institute, Pratap Chowk. The event began with **garlanding the statue of Maharana Bhupal Singh** and a rendition of **Saraswati Vandana**.
The chief guest, Gurumaiya Bhuvneshwari Puri, blessed the gathering and emphasized that **nobility is the foundation of human life**, defined by **sacrifice and patience**. She highlighted that our cultural tradition is built on these principles, citing examples of Lord Rama and the truth-loving Harishchandra. She said that our actions should leave a legacy for generations, noting that Maharana Bhupal Singh immortalized his name through the founding of institutions and his social welfare work.
Earlier, Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore presented the academic and educational achievements of the institute’s various units and assured continued growth and progress.
The acting president, honorary Prof. Colonel Shivsinh Sarangdevot, elaborated on Maharana Bhupal Singh’s life and contributions, highlighting that despite physical challenges, he worked tirelessly for society and the nation. His passion for education led to the establishment of several institutions, including the Bhupal Nobles Institute. He urged students to draw inspiration from Bhupal Singh’s personality and deeds to contribute to society and the nation.
During the program, students who excelled in **academics, cultural activities, NCC, and sports** were honored by the guests.
The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Dr. Dariyav Singh Chundawat, Rajendra Singh Jhala, Mohabbat Singh Rathore (Managing Director, Bhupal Nobles Institute), Shakti Singh Ranawat (Finance Minister), Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Rathore (Registrar), Ekling Singh Jhala (President, Old Boys Association), members of the Vidya Pracharini Executive Committee, heads of various units, guests, and students.
