Udaipur. The 20th edition of the Govardhan Lal Joshi 'Baba' Memorial Cricket Tournament was held on Sunday at the sports ground of Vidya Bhawan Society, where Vidya Bandhu Sansthan emerged victorious and lifted the trophy.
The match was played between the Vidya Bhawan Society team and the Alumni team.
According to Convenor Jayaprakash Shrimali, the Vidya Bhawan Society team batted first and, under the captaincy of Keshav Dave, scored 57 runs in 12.4 overs.
In response, the Vidya Bandhu Sansthan team, led by Captain Praveen Gurjar, successfully chased down the target by scoring 58 runs in just 7.4 overs, securing a comfortable win and claiming the trophy.

The event was graced by Vice President of Vidya Bhawan Society, Bhagwat S. Babel, and Chief Administrator Rajendra Bhatt, along with members of the Joshi family — Dr. Anshumali Joshi and Dr. Lalit Joshi — who encouraged the players.
Distinguished guests included senior alumnus Yashwant Parikh; President of Vidya Bandhu Sansthan, Pushpa Sharma; Honorary Secretary Gopal Krishna Bamb; Treasurer Revati Raman Shrimali; Executive Member Dilip Galundia; and Kezar Ali.
