It is not the position, but the personality that defines an institution – Muni Vimal Kumar

New Delhi :  An atmosphere resonating with devotion, trust, and reverence filled the Anuvrat Bhavan in the national capital as a grand felicitation ceremony was organized to honor Shri Suresh Goyal on his appointment as Chief Trustee of the newly constituted Trust Board of the Institution Shiromani Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Mahasabha, and Shri Mahendra Nahata on being nominated as its President.

The program was jointly organized by Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Delhi, and the Acharya Mahashraman Pravasa Vyavastha Samiti, Delhi, and was graced by the sacred presence of the distinguished disciples of His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman—Shasan Shri Muni Shri Vimal Kumar Ji and Bahushrut Muni Shri Udit Kumar Ji. Commencing with a devotional invocation, the ceremony unfolded in an ambiance imbued with reverence, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the Sangh.

In his inspiring address, Shasan Shri Muni Vimal Kumar Ji emphasized that the true strength of any institution lies in its office bearers. A position is merely a symbol of responsibility; what gives it meaning is humility, organizational loyalty, and visionary leadership. Under the guidance of Acharya Mahashraman Ji, institutions within the Terapanth Dharm Sangh exemplify a harmonious blend of these virtues—an alignment that forms the foundation of societal progress. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed leadership of the Mahasabha would further strengthen these values.

Bahushrut Muni Shri Udit Kumar Ji remarked that an organization whose members embody not only religiosity but also social sensitivity naturally writes a golden history. He observed that Shri Suresh Goyal and Shri Mahendra Nahata exemplify both these qualities in equal measure. Their dedication to the Sangh, spirit of service, and unwavering commitment have rightfully led them to this responsibility. He expressed hope that under their leadership, the Mahasabha would scale new heights. Muni Abhijit Kumar Ji also extended his thoughts, inspiring the new leadership to remain proactive and compassionate in their roles.

Shri Kanhaiyalal Patwari Jain, President of the Acharya Mahashraman Pravasa Vyavastha Samiti, congratulated both dignitaries, stating that their long-standing service, humility, and steadfast devotion to the Sangh formed the basis of their selection. This, he said, is not merely a personal achievement but a proud moment for the Delhi community.

Shri Sukhraj Sethia, President of the Terapanth Sabha, described both leaders as living embodiments of generosity and benevolence. Their consistent dedication to social welfare and Sangh activities has been deeply inspiring. He expressed confidence that the organization would move forward with renewed vigor under their stewardship.

Shri Bajrang Bothra, Senior Vice President of the Pravasa Vyavastha Samiti, stated that these eminent personalities would script a new chapter in the history of the Mahasabha. The substantial representation of Delhi in the Mahasabha this time is a matter of pride and joy for all. He added that this occasion signifies not only felicitation but also a renewed commitment to responsibility.

In his address, Shri Mahendra Nahata expressed profound devotion and gratitude toward the Guru, stating that the true foundation of any individual’s success is the grace of the Guru. The soul of all institutions, he affirmed, lies in the Guru—his vision, guidance, and blessings provide direction and purpose. The responsibility entrusted to him, he said, is not a personal accomplishment but the fruit of the Guru’s benevolence. With complete surrender at the Guru’s feet, he pledged to strive tirelessly to elevate the Mahasabha to greater heights.

Shri Suresh Goyal, recalling the glorious history of the Mahasabha, noted that the Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Mahasabha was established during the tenure of Acharya Kalugani and is the oldest institution of the Terapanth Dharm Sangh, having completed an inspiring journey of 113 years. He emphasized that the sustained growth of this distinguished institution requires the active participation of every member. Describing the Guru as the bridge to spiritual attainment and the ultimate dimension of life’s fulfillment, he affirmed that the Guru’s path alone leads toward self-elevation and organizational progress.

The program was skillfully conducted by Shri Pramod Ghodawat, General Secretary of the Delhi Sabha, maintaining dignity and grace throughout.

Among the organizations offering felicitations were Terapanth Parishad, Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Terapanth Professional Forum, Anuvrat Samiti Trust, and Akhil Bharatiya Anuvrat Nyas, along with representatives of numerous other bodies. All collectively extended their heartfelt wishes and reverence to Shri Mahendra Nahata, Shri Suresh Goyal, and other Delhi representatives serving in the Mahasabha.

The ceremony concluded with a resonant collective resolve: leadership is not merely authority—it is responsibility. And responsibility attains fulfillment only when anchored in dedication to the Sangh, society, and spiritual discipline.
