MP Dr. Rawat Felicitates International Lacrosse Gold Medalists
Udaipur: Udaipur Member of Parliament **Mannalal Rawat** honored local players at his residence for bringing glory to the nation by winning a gold medal at the Asian Lacrosse Games.
The players felicitated on the occasion included Sunita Meena, Dali Gameti, Meera Douja, Jula Kumari Gurjar, Yashishta Batra, Yashoda Gameti, Mukan Kumari Gurjar, Roshni Bose, Janvi Rathore, Mohan Lal Gameti, Khuma Ram Gameti, Dayashankar Gameti, Narayan Lal Gameti, Nishant Nagda, along with coach Neeraj Batra.
Congratulating the athletes, MP Dr. Rawat said that these talented players from tribal and rural areas have enhanced the pride of the state and the country through their outstanding performance at the international level. He assured them that every possible effort would be made to ensure they receive all facilities and benefits provided by the Government of India to medal winners, enabling them to perform even better in the future.
The MP also held detailed discussions with the players and their coach regarding the development of lacrosse and the upliftment of athletes. He emphasized that sports provide a new direction to youth and reiterated the government’s commitment to nurturing and promoting sporting talent.
