Udaipur: Research scholar Bhanwar Lal Patel from the Department of Computer Science at Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research University, Udaipur, has successfully completed his PhD on the topic “Prediction and Detection of Cybersecurity Incidents in Indian SMEs Using Machine Learning Algorithms.”
The research presents an advanced machine learning-based model to enable the early detection and prediction of cyberattacks, providing a scientific framework that strengthens the digital security capabilities of Indian SMEs. The findings offer significant contributions toward data-driven cybersecurity risk management and the development of automated incident detection systems.
This research was carried out under the expert guidance of Dr. Rajesh Kanja, Assistant Professor. The university administration and faculty members lauded the work as a valuable academic contribution in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The study is expected to serve as an effective roadmap for cyber threat management and digital infrastructure protection in the Indian SME sector in the future.
The research also received notable support from Prof. Dilendra Hiran, Faculty Chairman of Science and Technology at Pacific University.
