At Bhopal Nobel University, during the inauguration ceremony for new students of the Faculty of Agriculture, renowned career coach and founder of J.S. Global Udaipur, Jitendra Singh, addressed the students, sharing valuable guidance for achieving career success.
In his speech, he emphasized that the world is witnessing a radical transformation in education, with global demand shifting from degrees to skills. He stressed that what you know is less important than what you can do. Students should not rely solely on their curriculum but should actively immerse themselves in learning practical skills related to their field. He encouraged engaging in part-time jobs and internships from the very first year of college to gain hands-on experience.
Highlighting opportunities for today’s youth, he said that thousands of technical and non-technical career paths are available. Those who identify these opportunities early and prepare accordingly are the ones who reach the pinnacle of success. He cautioned students to avoid digital addiction and relying solely on luck, and instead take proactive steps toward shaping their desired career.
Mr. Singh further explained that the landscape of technology careers is changing rapidly, and Indian youth must keep pace with these changes. He compared today’s need for knowledge of artificial intelligence to the necessity of computer literacy 20 years ago.
Regarding India’s growing economy and development, he urged students not to limit themselves to government or private jobs, but also consider entrepreneurship. He highlighted the agriculture sector, noting that it offers thousands of opportunities, and by becoming entrepreneurs, students can become job creators themselves.
He concluded by advising students to develop both soft skills and technological skills to advance successfully in their careers.
The program began with a welcome address by Senior Faculty Member Dr. F.L. Sharma and concluded with a vote of thanks from Dean Dr. Dileep Singh Songara. Other dignitaries present included Dr. P.S. Rao and Dr. T. Hussain.
