Jeevan Vidya Camp in Udaipur Offers Opportunity for Self-Understanding

Udaipur: The Jeevan Vidya Parivar is organizing a Jeevan Vidya introductory session on February 21 at 1:00 PM at Shramjeevi College, New Auditorium, Town Hall, Udaipur. The session is open to all interested participants. Following this, a seven-day Jeevan Vidya camp will be held from February 22 to February 28 at Bahubali Vihar, near the toll naka on Dakan Kotda–Salumber Road.

The camp will focus on understanding life through clarity in relationships, harmony, and material well-being. Discussions will center on identifying the root causes of unrest and mental distress and exploring practical solutions. The free camp aims to help participants better understand and live a balanced family life.

Organizer Jayanti Jain (Founder: Swasthya Setu) informed that Jeevan Vidya facilitator Dr. Shyam Kumar, a former student of IIT Kanpur, will lead the sessions. On February 21, he will engage participants in reflective dialogue on fundamental questions such as: “Who am I?”, “What is my relationship with my body?”, “What are the needs of the body?”, and “How am I connected to family, society, and nature?”

Coordinator Pandit Dhiraj Vaidik stated that Dr. Shyam Kumar presents ideas based on understanding, relationships, and harmony as proposals rather than doctrines. Participants are free to accept or reject them after thoughtful consideration. The emphasis is on understanding the meaning and essence of words rather than mere verbal expression. The camp will follow a two-way interactive dialogue format and families are encouraged to participate together.

The camp is designed as a process of self-exploration and reflection. Participants will be guided to observe their thoughts, beliefs, and actions. It emphasizes that material progress alone does not define success; understanding relationships and responsibilities is equally important. Rather than offering instant relief, the camp aims to cultivate deeper thinking toward resolving fundamental life questions. Self-awareness is presented as the foundation of lasting happiness and inner freedom.
