Officials from UIT, PHED, and RUIDP, along with representatives of the executing agencies, were present and given necessary instructions.

The District Collector conducted a detailed review of issues related to the sewerage plant, water drainage systems, and difficulties faced in cleaning sewer lines across the city. She directed that obstacles preventing the full functioning of the STP be resolved at the earliest.

Ahead of the upcoming summer season, she instructed timely preparations to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply. PHED officials were asked to conduct regular water quality checks and ensure that drinking water does not mix with sewerage. Officials responsible for pipeline work were directed to maintain high-quality standards and complete the work before the monsoon season. UIT officials were instructed to ensure regular monitoring of these activities.

The District Collector also instructed that in areas where double supply of drinking water exists, one line should be closed to maintain smooth operations. Additionally, in locations with damaged roads or potholes, the concerned authorities were asked to install signboards for public safety.
