Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of Amavasya Fair 2026, the district administration of Sri Ganganagar, in collaboration with the Tourism Department, Bikaner, and the Gram Panchayat Dabla, organized a series of cultural programs at Gurudwara Shri Buddha Johad under the Panch Gaurav initiative. Artists from various regions performed during the event, showcasing traditional arts such as mashak (bagpipe) music, Kachchi Ghodi performances, dancers in traditional Rajasthani attire, Gatka by invited artists from Sri Ganganagar, folk dance Bhavai, Rajasthani folk singing, recitations of Kabir and Meera’s poetry, as well as Shabad Kirtan and Ardas by Punjabi folk artists.
Tourism Department official Shri Pawan Sharma stated that a Panch Gaurav exhibition was also organized during the program. Under the Panch Gaurav initiative, each district highlights a key tourism site—in this case, Gurudwara Shri Buddha Johad—through which visitors were informed about the scheme and its objectives.
The program was attended by devotees along with notable officials including Additional Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Shri Hariram Chahaan; Nodal Officer of Panch Gaurav Program and Deputy Director, Shri Sushil Sharma; BDO Shri Chhaganram; Shri Subhash; Shri Rajnish Jiyani; and members of the Gurudwara Management Committee, Shri Hakim Singh, Shri Arvind Siyag, Shri Jafar Ali, and Shri Bharatlal Godara, among others.
