Udaipur: Two exciting matches were played on Sunday in the ongoing PIMS Mewar Cup Cricket Season 4, being organized at the Field Club Ground under the joint aegis of Pacific Hospital, Vinay Cricket Club, and Leela Foundation.
First Match
In the first match, the star-studded Delhi Challengers posted a competitive total of 172 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Dhruv Singh played a sensational innings, smashing six sixes and six fours on his way to a quickfire 84 runs off just 41 balls. Irfan delivered an impressive bowling performance, claiming five wickets for 22 runs.
In response, Udaipur Lakecity Warriors chased down the target comfortably in just 15.4 overs, losing six wickets. The highlight of the innings was an explosive knock by Samarth Vyas, who scored 82 runs off just 26 balls, hitting eight sixes and seven fours to seal the victory in dominant fashion.
Second Match
In the second match played later in the afternoon, Balaji Construction batted first and were bowled out for 128 runs in 17.2 overs. For GCA, Ajay scored 25 runs, while Harsh Tyagi and Ankit contributed 27 runs each. Ravi Bishnoi picked up two wickets.
Chasing the target, GCA reached 131 runs in just 11.3 overs, losing only three wickets to secure a convincing win. Harshal smashed 41 runs off just 13 balls, including five sixes, while Smit Patel scored 34 off 21 balls and Ahan Poddar added 34 off 22 balls to guide their team to victory.
