Defeats Udaipur Lake City Warriors by Eight Wickets; Ravi Bishnoi Takes Three Wickets
Udaipur: In the title match of PIMS Mewar Cup Season 4, jointly organized by Pacific Hospital, Vinay Cricket Club, and Leela Foundation, GCA dominated Udaipur Lake City Warriors to claim the championship with an emphatic eight-wicket victory at the Field Club ground on Tuesday. International player Ravi Bishnoi took three crucial wickets in the match.
Batting first, Udaipur Warriors were bowled out for 109 runs in 14.1 overs. Prithviraj Singh top-scored with 45 runs off 25 balls, including four sixes and four fours, showing some resistance, but lack of support from the other batsmen prevented the team from posting a higher total. Ravi Bishnoi shone with the ball, taking three wickets for just 5 runs in 2.1 overs. Harshal Patel and Yash Doshi also claimed three wickets each.
Chasing a modest target, GCA comfortably reached 112 runs for the loss of two wickets in 7.2 overs to seal an eight-wicket victory. Ravi Bishnoi was named Player of the Match.
Prizes were awarded to the winning and runner-up teams, along with individual awards for Best Bowler, Best Batsman, and Best Fielder.
A large crowd gathered at Field Club ground to watch their favorite IPL players up close, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The excitement among the youth was palpable, with cheers and celebrations accompanying every boundary and six.
