In his address, Shri Praveen Khandelwal highlighted that the central budget for FY 2025-26 has placed special emphasis on the development of the MSME sector, which remains a top priority for the government. He informed that the government has allocated ₹10,000 crore for MSME development and an additional ₹4,000 crore under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Fund’ to promote the Make in India initiative.
He further explained that policy frameworks and funds are being established to develop infrastructure across approximately 250 existing industrial clusters, with the entire funding provided by the central government. He urged UCCI to take a leading role in identifying potential cluster sectors in southern Rajasthan to benefit from this initiative.
Shri Khandelwal observed that the corporate sector’s growth has reached saturation, while the MSME sector holds immense potential. He emphasized that although India is currently the largest consumer economy globally, the government aims to make India the world’s largest manufacturing economy, promoting Make in India and indigenous products.

Shri Khandelwal also mentioned that India’s pride, the BrahMos missile, will be showcased, along with names of around 200 Indian companies involved in its production. Additionally, 50 acres near Jewar International Airport have been reserved for a trade expo.
He further outlined the government’s efforts to expand international trade to 83 countries, with Indian traders playing a key role.
