Udaipur – Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has appointed Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya as a member of the India-CARICOM Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The Indian Parliament has taken a significant step to strengthen international parliamentary cooperation by forming the India-CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Parliamentary Friendship Group. CARICOM is a regional organization established to enhance economic, political, and social cooperation among Caribbean countries.
This group has been constituted for the tenure of the 18th Lok Sabha. It will work to promote parliamentary dialogue, mutual cooperation, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of democratic values between India and the member countries of the Caribbean Community.
Expressing his gratitude to the Lok Sabha Speaker, MP Garasiya stated that he will work with full commitment to further strengthen the friendly relations between India and CARICOM countries.
