Udaipur Congress Demands CBI Probe in High-Profile Case
Udaipur: Regarding a serious and high-profile case registered on the night of February 11, 2026, at Bhupalpura Police Station in Udaipur, Udaipur City District Congress has issued an official statement demanding strict action.
District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore has called for a high-level and impartial investigation into the matter by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He also demanded that stringent disciplinary and legal action be taken against any officers, employees, or accused individuals found guilty in the case.
Rathore further urged authorities to identify anti-social elements who allegedly engaged in vandalism in the presence of police personnel and to register criminal cases against them. He emphasized the need for clear guidelines to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, ensuring transparency and accountability in police functioning to maintain public trust.
In this regard, Rathore also requested Tikaram Jully, Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, to raise the issue during the ongoing Assembly session to facilitate a fair investigation and prevent similar incidents from occurring again.
