A one-day training workshop on CPR & First Aid was organized for students under the joint initiative of Pacific Institute of Fire and Safety Management and Pacific Medical College & Hospital, affiliated with Pacific University.
Professor Hemant Kothari, President of Pacific University, highlighted that the objective of the workshop was to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to provide quick and effective first aid in emergency situations.
Dr. Mukesh Shrimali, Director of Pacific Institute of Fire and Safety Management, shared that the workshop’s chief speaker was Dr. Deepak Joshi, Head of the Advanced Skills and Simulation Center at Pacific Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur. Dr. Joshi provided training on first aid for burns, cuts, and injuries, as well as care for joint injuries and fractures, and also conducted a session on CPR techniques.
At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates were distributed to all participating students. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. M.M. Mangal, Principal of Pacific Medical College & Hospital, and facilitated by Mr. Amos Mark and Mr. Neeraj Khatik.
The workshop successfully enhanced students’ emergency response skills and preparedness for real-life situations.
