Udaipur: At the Khelo India Asmita Penchak Silat League – West Zone held in Daman, Udaipur’s female Penchak Silat athletes delivered a stellar performance, winning a total of 2 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Along with the medals, the athletes also earned attractive cash prizes, bringing pride to Udaipur and Rajasthan.
The prestigious league saw participation from over 500 female athletes representing teams from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Daman & Diu, making the competition highly competitive and intense.
Harish Kumar Sanwaria, Secretary of the Udaipur Penchak Silat Association, stated that the athletes performed exceptionally across the Senior, Junior, and Sub-Junior categories in their respective weight classes.

Gold: Bhavya Handeriya and Vatsala Sharma – ₹8,000 each
Silver: Shanaya Jain and Pratyusha Singh – ₹6,000 each
Bronze: Kinjal Patel, Rudrakshi Sharma, Ikra Naz, Pakhi Jain, Sejna Khan – ₹4,000 each
