Udaipur: Mewar is renowned for its vibrant and high-spirited Holi celebrations, and this year the festivities are set to reach new heights in Kumbhalgarh. A grand “Dhurandhar Holi Party” will be hosted on March 4 at the picturesque Kananwas Resort, located on the Parshuram Cave route and surrounded by the scenic Aravalli hills.
The celebration will take place at the resort’s beautifully landscaped Aravalli Gardens from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, promising an afternoon filled with music, colors, and festive cheer.

Live Performance by Madhubanti Bagchi
The highlight of the event will be a power-packed live performance by Bollywood sensation Madhubanti Bagchi, who will take the stage along with her energetic dance troupe. Known for delivering hit tracks like “Aaj Ki Raat,” “Ui Amma,” “Shararat,” “Tenu Naina Ladawa,” and “Burj Khalifa,” Madhubanti has carved a distinct space for herself in the Hindi film industry.
Director Manish Kachhawa shared that this is the first time such a grand Holi celebration is being organized in Kumbhalgarh. Both couple entries and stag entries will be allowed, making it an inclusive and exciting event for all.
Guests will celebrate Holi with colorful water sprays and organic gulal, dancing to live music in a safe and joyous environment.

General Manager Devendra Singh informed that the event will feature a range of light snacks along with traditionally prepared, intoxicant-free thandai for guests. The dress code for the party is white attire, adding to the classic Holi aesthetic. Born in Balurghat, West Bengal, Madhubanti Bagchi is a trained classical vocalist from the Agra Gharana tradition under the guidance of Shrimati Shubhra Guha.
