Prime Minister Narendra Modi Targets Congress from Ajmer
Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress party while addressing a gathering in Ajmer.
He said that recently the world’s largest AI conference was held in Delhi, attended by Prime Ministers, Presidents, and top business leaders from many countries. According to him, global leaders openly praised India, making the nation proud. However, he alleged that the Congress party attempted to defame the country in front of international guests and staged what he described as a “drama” to insult India on a global platform. He asserted that the country would never forgive what he called the party’s misdeeds.
The Prime Minister stated that Congress, facing electoral defeats across the country, is trying to take revenge by tarnishing India’s image. He remarked that the party was once known as INC (Indian National Congress) but has now, in his words, turned into “MMC.” He further alleged that just as the Muslim League divided the country in the past, Congress is now attempting to create divisions. He also accused the party of aligning with forces that oppose India’s prosperity, Constitution, and democracy.
Referring to national security, the Prime Minister said that in the past, soldiers were deprived of proper weapons and uniforms, and military families were denied the benefits of One Rank One Pension for years. He alleged that major corruption scandals took place in defense deals during Congress rule. In contrast, he claimed that over the past 11 years, India’s armed forces have delivered strong responses against terrorists and enemies of the nation and have been victorious in every mission. He added that from surgical strikes to other military operations, India demonstrated its strength, but Congress leaders, according to him, chose to amplify the enemy’s narrative.
He concluded by saying that Congress has historically opposed initiatives that benefit the country. He also alleged that during its tenure in Rajasthan, the Congress government remained entangled in corruption and internal conflicts.
