Jaipur/Ajmer: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of Governor Haribhau Bagade and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, dedicated and laid the foundation stones for 43 major development works and projects worth ₹16,686 crore from Ajmer.
Out of the total projects, 34 schemes worth approximately ₹8,554 crore belong to various state government departments, while 9 major projects worth around ₹8,132 crore are associated with the Central Government’s National Highways and Energy Departments. These projects cover sectors such as Public Health Engineering, Energy, Water Resources, Industry, Public Works, Urban Development and Housing, and National Highways.
Launch of National HPV Vaccination Campaign
The Prime Minister launched the National HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccination Campaign against cervical cancer from the vaccination site set up at Kayad Vishramsthali. After administering the HPV vaccine to five girls aged 9 to 14 years, he interacted with them.
Cervical cancer is a serious disease affecting women, and globally, over 99% of cases are linked to HPV infection. Mandatory registration for vaccination has been ensured through the U-WIN digital platform.
National Highway Projects
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for National Highway projects worth over ₹4,516 crore, including:
A 4-lane greenfield expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur, built at a cost of about ₹1,208 crore.
An 8-lane carriageway under Package 14 of the Delhi–Vadodara Access-Controlled Greenfield Expressway, from NH-76 junction to NH-12 at Ummedpura village, costing around ₹1,114 crore.
Additional highway development works include:
₹103 crore for a two-lane road on NH-248A from Shahpura to Thanagazi.
₹546 crore for Phase I road construction from Deogarh to the Rajasthan-Gujarat border.
₹190 crore for upgrading the Ajmer–Nagaur section of NH-89 (new NH-58) to a two-lane road with paved shoulders.
₹110 crore for widening and strengthening the Jaisalmer–Sam–Dhanana road.
Urban and State Highway Infrastructure
The Prime Minister also laid foundation stones for:
An elevated road in Jaipur from Sanganer Flyover to Malpura Gate via Chauradia Petrol Pump, costing over ₹286 crore.
A 4-lane elevated road in Jodhpur from Mahamandir to Akhaliya Circle, costing ₹1,243 crore.
The Malbamori–Mangrol–Baran State Highway in Baran district, estimated at ₹322 crore.
A four-lane section on NH-552 (Kustala–Sawai Madhopur) costing ₹111 crore.
Industrial and Drinking Water Projects
To promote industrial development, investment, and employment generation in western Rajasthan, foundation stones were laid for infrastructure and drinking water supply projects worth ₹526 crore at the Jodhpur Pali Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA).
For clean and safe drinking water, foundation stones were laid for:
Four packages of the Nonera Major Drinking Water Project worth over ₹1,021 crore.
Five packages of the Parwan Akawad Major Drinking Water Project costing ₹2,247 crore.
Two works of the Bikaner Major Drinking Water Project worth ₹660 crore.
Additionally, development and renovation works of canals were initiated in Bikaner, Phalodi, Jaisalmer, Hanumangarh, and Dungarpur districts.
Renewable Energy and Power Infrastructure
To ensure smooth transmission of electricity from Rajasthan’s major renewable energy hubs, projects worth ₹3,616 crore were inaugurated. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stones for power infrastructure projects worth ₹1,781 crore, including five 220 kV and two 400 kV grid substations.

On this occasion, appointment letters were distributed to 21,863 newly selected candidates in various state government departments. These include:

2,291 Junior Technical Assistants and Accounts Assistants (Rural Development)
2,590 Livestock Assistants and 281 Animal Attendants
3,822 Community Health Officers (CHOs)
472 Pharma Assistants

7,357 Public Health Care Nurses, Medical Lab Technicians, Nursing Supervisors, Nursing Trainers, Nursing Tutors, Staff Nurses, and Nurse Grade-II
