The Foundation Day of the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) was celebrated with great enthusiasm, bringing together teams from NIF Gandhinagar, Noida, Bhubaneswar, and NIT. The occasion was marked by meaningful discussions on innovation, sustainability, and the future of grassroots technological advancement.
Former Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Prof. N. S. Rathore, attended the celebration as a distinguished guest. During the event, he interacted with members of the NIF teams and appreciated their dedicated efforts in transforming the institution into a leading platform for nurturing grassroots innovations across the country.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Rathore delivered a talk titled “Inclusive Innovation: Empowering the Marginalized through Sustainable Alternatives.” In his address, he emphasized the need to promote eco-friendly, scalable innovations that empower marginalized communities and bring forward the creativity of grassroots innovators. He highlighted that inclusive innovation is essential for sustainable development and for ensuring that the benefits of technological progress reach all sections of society.
