Udaipur: On the auspicious occasion of the full moon of the Phalgun month, Janmat Manch was formally constituted with 11 members. The primary objective of the organization is to guide society in a positive direction through education.
During the Holi Milan gathering, members held discussions on growing social concerns, noting that increasing family-centric practices are giving rise to various social evils. The platform aims to address such issues through constructive dialogue and awareness.
On this occasion, Janmat Manch President Dr. Srinivas Mahawar stated that environmental protection is the most pressing need of our time. He emphasized that mountains, forests, and rivers play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. In India, the Himalayas, the Aravalli mountain range, and rivers are not merely geographical features but the foundation of life. Their conservation is essential for both the present and the future. He also expressed concern over ongoing deforestation and the cutting of mountains, stressing that such activities must be stopped and environmental education should be promoted to raise public awareness.
The chief guest of the event, Dr. Kailash Chandra Joshi, Principal of the Government Senior Secondary School, highlighted that industrialization and urbanization have led to increasing pollution and climate change. Therefore, environmental conservation has become extremely necessary.
Dr. Priyadarshi Ojha spoke about the social and economic dimensions of environmental protection. He said that a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy society, as pollution leads to diseases and lowers the quality of life. Economically, sectors such as agriculture, industry, and tourism depend on natural resources. Without conservation, economic development will be adversely affected.
Anuradha Mathur from the मंच emphasized the political aspect, stating that government policies, laws, and international agreements play a significant role in environmental protection. Sustainable development is only possible through effective governance and public participation.
Vinod Chaudhary added that environmental protection is deeply linked to social, economic, and political development. He urged everyone to remain aware and protect nature to ensure a safe and clean environment for future generations.
Social worker Shirish Nath Mathur suggested practical steps such as not dumping waste into lakes and ponds, conserving water, planting trees, and maintaining cleanliness.
The program was conducted by Janmat Manch spokesperson Vishal Mathur.
