Women of Rajivika Groups Informed About Welfare Schemes
Sriganganagar: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, a special program was organized at the Sriganganagar Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. Head Office, sponsored by NABARD.
The event was attended by Bank Managing Director Mr. Sanjay Garg, Deputy Registrar Mr. Deepak Kukkad, DDM NABARD Mr. Amarjeet Singh, LDM Mr. Mukesh Kumar, along with Vijayalakshmi and Paras Kanwar and other women from various Rajivika groups.
During the program, Deputy Registrar Deepak Kukkad shared details about the “Lakhpati Didi” scheme and other welfare initiatives being implemented through Rajivika. LDM Mukesh Kumar discussed how women can access loans and banking facilities through self-help groups to become financially independent.
Managing Director Sanjay Garg extended Women’s Day greetings and highlighted the role of Rajivika in women’s empowerment. DDM NABARD Amarjeet Singh appreciated the participants for attending the program and emphasized harnessing the energy gained to achieve all-round development.
Senior Bank Manager Shipra Behl conducted a quiz for the women participants, rewarding the winners, while the program was managed by Manish Kumar Chalana. The attendees expressed the importance and usefulness of celebrating Women’s Day.
