On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a commendable and inspiring initiative has been taken to promote girls’ education through the joint efforts of DPS Society, New Delhi, and Delhi Public School Udaipur.
The school management has announced that from March 5 to March 10, 2026, the admission fee will be completely waived for all girls seeking admission from Nursery to Class IX and Class XI. This special concession will be applicable only during the specified period.
This decision has been taken under the guidance of Govind Agrawal, Pro Vice Chairman of the school. The initiative is considered an important step toward strengthening a positive mindset in society toward daughters and ensuring equal educational opportunities. He stated that girls are the strength of the nation, and their empowerment is possible only through quality education. The school has always remained committed to promoting girls’ education, and this initiative is an extension of that commitment.
The Principal of the school, Sanjay Narwariya, shared that Delhi Public School Udaipur focuses on the holistic development of students by providing modern educational resources, guidance from experienced and trained teachers, co-curricular activities, sports, moral education, and personality development programs. Every academic session introduces innovative teaching methods and creative programs with the support of teachers to help students develop self-confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility.
He also informed that, as in previous years, on March 8, teachers of the school will visit various workplaces across the city to honor women working in different professional fields in celebration of International Women’s Day.
This initiative taken on the occasion of Women’s Day has received very positive responses from parents, educationists, and residents of the city. The school management has urged parents to take advantage of this opportunity and take a meaningful step toward securing a bright future for their daughters.
