International Women’s Day to be Celebrated at Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi
Udaipur: Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi will organize a program on International Women’s Day on Sunday.
Academy Secretary Dr. Basant Singh Solanki informed that the event will be held at 11:00 AM in the main auditorium of the academy. The program will be presided over by Pragya Kevalramani, Divisional Commissioner and Administrator of the Academy.
The Chief Guest for the event will be social worker Bhavana Paliwal. The Special Guests will include Shivani Johari Bhatnagar, Judge from Pratapgarh, and Anjana Sukhwal, ASP of Kherwara.
As part of the program, a historical theatrical performance depicting the sacrifice of Panna Dhai will be presented by female performers. Additionally, Ananya Bokadia will present an expressive dance performance based on a poem.
Dr. Solanki further stated that women scholars and literary personalities from Udaipur and Rajsamand districts will participate in the event.
