Grand ‘Phool Phag Rasiya’ Celebration Today at Ashoka Palace, Udaipur; Vallabhkul Vaishnav Acharya Wagdhish Maharaj to Deliver Vachanamrit
Udaipur: In the city of lakes, the sacred festival of Holi will be celebrated with a unique blend of devotion, music, and colors at the ‘Phool Phag Rasiya’ event today, 8 March, at the MadhuShree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace, Shobhagpura, starting at 4:00 PM.
Mukesh Madhwani, Founder and Chairman of Business Circle International (BCI), shared that the event is being organized jointly by Shri Vitthalesh Mandal, Kumawat Kirtankar Bhakt Mandal, and BCI. The sacred presence of 108 Wagdhish Maharaj, Vallabhkul Vaishnav Acharya of the Dwitiya Peeth Vitthalnath Temple, will grace the occasion.
Gopaldas Kumawat and Rajesh Kumawat of the Kumawat Kirtankar Bhakt Mandal stated that a special dress code has been set to maintain the traditional and respectful spirit of the festival. Women participating in the event will wear ‘Phagnia sarees’, while men are expected to wear dhoti-buglabandi or kurta-pajama.
In this traditional ambiance, as the phag songs are sung, the entire setting is expected to resonate with the devotional atmosphere of Gokul-Vrindavan. Attendees will not only enjoy the melodious phag verses but also receive the spiritual blessings and Vachanamrit of Maharaj.
All preparations for the festival have been completed. The celebration will feature flower Holi and Rasiya songs as special highlights. The Kumawat Kirtankar Bhakt Mandal has invited city residents to attend this divine event, enjoy the phag festivities, and experience the rich Pushtimarg cultural heritage firsthand.
