Udaipur: A transformative spiritual and cultural hub is set to rise in Selu village, Iswal Gram Panchayat, Udaipur, on 10 bighas (approx. 2.3 lakh sq. ft.) of land donated by Moendra Foundation MD, Krishndasi Ranjana Bhati. The project will combine devotion, service, culture, and tourism under one roof, providing a singular destination for worship, music, cow care, elder care, and cultural exploration.
The planned complex will feature:
Radha-Krishna Temple: Built in traditional Indian architectural style, this temple will serve as a center of spiritual consciousness, harmony, and cultural awareness. Regular bhajans, satsangs, Geeta recitations, kirtans, and cultural programs will allow devotees to offer their prayers and experience spiritual upliftment. The temple will transcend caste, class, and creed, fostering unity and positive energy for all visitors.
Modern Gaushala: A fully equipped, service-oriented cow shelter will be constructed for the protection and care of abandoned, sick, and elderly cows. Scientific feed management, veterinary care, and hygiene systems will ensure their well-being. Awareness programs on cow protection and the use of cow-based natural products will educate youth and farmers, embodying compassion, service, and respect for nature.
Happy Home for the Elderly: A dedicated facility will provide a safe, dignified living environment for senior citizens and vulnerable individuals, offering food, clothing, medical care, mental counseling, and a clean, supportive environment. The goal is not only shelter but to enable self-reliance, social connection, and a respectful life.
Grand Music Museum: The complex will house a music museum celebrating Indian music, folk art, and cultural heritage. It will document classical, folk, and regional music, showcase traditional instruments, and host workshops, training sessions, and cultural events for youth. This will preserve India’s musical legacy while positioning Udaipur as a cultural tourism destination.
Mukesh Madhwani, Director of Moendra Foundation, emphasized the need for public support, stating that such a large-scale project can only succeed with collective participation. Contributions can be made in the form of services, materials, or financial support, according to individual capacity and devotion.
Krishndasi Ranjana Bhati, MD of the Foundation, highlighted that donating the land was inspired by the belief that serving society is every individual’s duty. She said the project will integrate devotion at the temple, service at the Gaushala, dignity for elders, healthcare, and music education—creating a harmonious blend of religion, compassion, culture, and humanity.
Sunil Laddha, architect and director of the Foundation, explained that the complex’s design balances traditional Indian architecture with modern facilities, ensuring every part is eco-friendly, aesthetically appealing, and artistically crafted. The temple will follow classical design principles, while the Gaushala and Happy Home will incorporate contemporary functionality.
According to Vijay Jain, Director of Moendra Foundation, the project will not only have religious and social importance but will also boost tourism. By combining spirituality, cow service, social welfare, and cultural heritage in one site, the complex is expected to attract visitors from across India and abroad, giving Udaipur a distinctive identity as a spiritual and cultural destination.
Diwakar Agrawal, Director, emphasized that societal transformation occurs when people work together for a common cause. Every contribution, whether in service, materials, or funds, will strengthen the project and help it reach new heights.
In summary, the Moendra Foundation’s spiritual and cultural complex in Selu village promises to be a model for devotion, service, and cultural preservation. With a Radha-Krishna temple, modern Gaushala, Happy Home, and music museum, the project aims to provide a holistic space where spirituality, compassion, culture, and social service coexist, shaping Udaipur into a nationally recognized hub for spiritual and cultural tourism.
