Women Honored for Outstanding Work on International Women’s Day
Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, District Collector Dr. Manju watched the live broadcast of a state-level program organized from Hanumangarh through video conferencing at the NIC VC room located in the Collectorate premises in Sri Ganganagar on Sunday.
On this occasion, the Women and Child Development Department, Sri Ganganagar, honored Anganwadi workers, helpers, Sathins, ASHA collaborators, and institutions for their outstanding work under the Mata Yashoda Award and the Pannadhay Suraksha and Samman Yojana of the Women Empowerment Department.
Under the Pannadhay Suraksha and Samman Yojana, Sathin Sunita, Anganwadi worker Paro Devi, and ASHA collaborator Neetu Goyal were each awarded ₹11,000. Ladli Seva Sansthan received ₹7,500, Karma Bai Jat Mahila Sansthan received ₹5,000, and Manju Garg was awarded ₹2,500 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Similarly, under the Mata Yashoda Award, honorary workers were honored with incentive amounts. Anganwadi workers receiving ₹5,100 each included Saroj Meghwal from Ghadisana, Rajvinder Kaur from Sadulshahar, Saroj Rani from Anupgarh, Sunita from Raisinghnagar, Manju Bala from Suratgarh, Usha Rani from Shrikaranpur, Paramjit Kaur from Sri Ganganagar city, Mandeep Kaur from Sri Ganganagar rural, and Mamta Verma from Padampur.
Among the Anganwadi helpers, ₹2,100 each was transferred through DBT to Jasvinder Kaur from Ghadisana, Sunita from Sadulshahar, Mangli Devi from Anupgarh, Sanju from Raisinghnagar, Suman from Suratgarh, Suman from Shrikaranpur, Meetu Rani from Sri Ganganagar city, Mamta from Sri Ganganagar rural, and Manju from Padampur.
During the program, women’s empowerment and their significant contributions to society were highlighted, and women performing outstanding work in their respective fields were honored.
