Holi Milan Festival Strengthens Social Harmony: Jamnesh Dhuppad

Udaipur: The Holi Milan festival is not just a celebration of colors, but also a way to strengthen the internal fabric of society, foster mutual goodwill, brotherhood, and social unity. Such events encourage dialogue among community members and inspire the younger generation to connect with social traditions.

These views were expressed by Jamnesh Dhuppad, President of the Maheshwari Panchayat Seva Samiti, Dhanmandi, during the Holi Sneha Milan festival held at Maheshwari Seva Sadan, Teej Ka Chowk. In his address, Jamnesh Dhuppad expressed concern over the rising excessive expenses in weddings and appealed to community members to maintain simplicity and social balance. He also extended his gratitude to all participants for their active involvement in the program.

The festival organized by Maheshwari Panchayat, Dhanmandi was celebrated with enthusiasm and traditional zeal, attended by a large number of men, women, and youth from the Maheshwari community. Participants exchanged greetings, promoted mutual affection, and reinforced the spirit of brotherhood. The event also included a communal feast, during which attendees enjoyed the India–New Zealand cricket match on a large screen.

Dr. Basanti Lal Baheti, Secretary of the Panchayat, noted that the Holi Sneha Milan festival is organized annually with active participation from all sections of the community. He encouraged community members to continue contributing to social programs with enthusiasm and joy, and motivated the youth to focus on higher education and excel in judicial and administrative services.

The successful organization of the program was supported by several office bearers and members, including Anita Moondra, Suman Soni, Rajkumari Dhuppad, Sushila Laddha, Namrata Toshniwal, Sunita Mandovra, Rajesh Toshniwal, Prakash Chechani, Vinod Chechani, Ram Narayan Moondra, Narayan Lal Asawa, Radheshyam Toshniwal, Rajendra Moondra, Dinesh Chechani, Ganesh Moondra, Shyam Sundar Toshniwal, Dinesh Chandra Moondra, Suresh Toshniwal, Pankaj Toshniwal, Mangilal Mantri, Pradeep Moondra, and Dheeraj Dhuppad, among others.

The event concluded with community members exchanging Holi greetings and conveying wishes for the progress, unity, and prosperity of society.
