###Dr. Alpana Bohra Honoured on Women’s Day
Sashakt Society recognises 200 inspiring women
Udaipur: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, around 200 women who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields were honoured by Shri Sashakt Society. The program was organized under the leadership of Society President Nandkishore Kabra and Secretary Supriya Khandelwal.
The event began with a Ganesh Vandana presented by Srishti Kabra. The program was compered by Dr. Poornima Vyas and Dr. Neelam Rameja.
Women from various professions including acupressure therapists, entrepreneurs, doctors, educators, social workers, artists, homemakers, and professionals who have inspired society through their work were felicitated during the ceremony.
On this occasion, Dr. Alpana Bohra, President of the Women’s Wing of the Consumer Protection Organisation, Udaipur District, and former senior officer of Rolta India Limited, Mumbai, was conferred with a Special Honour for her outstanding social contributions. Along with her, seven other women were also honoured.
Among the distinguished guests present at the event were Additional SP Chetan Bhati, DYSP Anjana Sukhwal, Yashvardhan Ranawat, Rajendra Paliwal, Vandana Dak, Sanjay Porwal, Chandra Prakash, Pawan Jain, Gandhari, Sanjay Khandelwal, Kamini Gurjar, Mayur Mehta, Dr. Baldeep Kaur, Neeta Mehta, Suman Mandobra, and Sonal Sushma Kumawat, along with several other dignitaries.
To mark the fourth anniversary of Shri Sashakt Society, a cake-cutting ceremony was also organized. The program concluded with a Housie game for women and refreshments served to all participants.
