BCI Tourism Requests Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy CM Diya Kumari to Establish Special Pink Toilets for Women in Udaipur

Udaipur: Business Circle International (BCI) Tourism has taken a significant initiative to improve facilities for women at the city’s major tourist sites. BCI Tourism has written a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari requesting the establishment of special “Pink Toilets” for women in Udaipur.

Mukesh Madhwani, Founder and Chairman of BCI, stated that during a recent workplace meeting held at Oriental Palace Resorts under BCI Tourism Chairperson Dr. Shraddha Gattani, it was proposed and approved that clean and secure pink toilets should be set up for women at all major tourist destinations in Udaipur. These facilities would also include free sanitary pads, keeping women’s needs in mind.

Dr. Shraddha Gattani emphasized that Udaipur is a world-renowned tourist city attracting large numbers of domestic and international visitors, many of whom are women. She said that developing women-friendly facilities at tourist sites is essential not only to provide convenience to female tourists but also to strengthen Udaipur’s image as a female-friendly tourism city.

Gaurav Bhandari, General Secretary, highlighted that robust basic facilities at tourist locations are crucial for tourism development. The availability of clean pink toilets along with free sanitary pads will be highly beneficial for women.

Surabhi Menaria Dhing, Secretary, added that public facilities should cater to women’s health and hygiene needs, ensuring better services for both female tourists and local women.

Swati Swarooparia, Treasurer, remarked that such initiatives are an important step toward women’s health and dignity. Establishing pink toilets and providing sanitary pads at tourist sites would send a positive message to society while enhancing women’s comfort and safety.
