,500 runners, including serving soldiers, veterans, professional runners, students and citizens who gathered to celebrate the spirit of fitness and patriotism.

          Marking a powerful new beginning, the first-ever Wonder Cement Jaipur Soldierathon marks the birth of a movement rooted in fitness, discipline and deep respect for the Armed Forces, captured in the spirit of “Run with Soldiers, Run for Soldiers.” The event encouraged citizens to run not just for personal milestones but for a larger national purpose, reinforcing the vision of Fit Bharat and spreading the message “Say Yes to Sports, No to Drugs.” The run also stood in solidarity with India’s wounded soldiers by supporting the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, honouring courage beyond the battlefield and raising awareness for soldiers who have sustained spinal injuries in the line of duty.

          The Marathon was ceremonially flagged off by General (Dr) V. K. Singh, Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram and Patron, Soldierathon, in the august presence of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command. The presence of such eminent personalities highlighted the Indian Army’s commitment to promoting fitness, youth engagement and strong military-civil camaraderie.

          The event featured multiple race categories including the 21 km Half Marathon, 10 km Timed Run, 5 km Tribute Run and 3 km Fun Run, enabling participants across age groups to take part while experiencing the unique opportunity to run through the scenic surroundings of the Jaipur Military Station.

          Adding vibrancy to the occasion, the venue hosted several activities including Zumba sessions, Punjabi Dhol and Bhangra performances, Gatka martial art displays, Army Band performances, face painting activities and interactive photo booths, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere for participants and spectators.

          Cash prizes were awarded to winners across race categories, with ₹10,000 for winners of the 21 km race and ₹5,000 for winners of the 10 km race, along with prizes for runners-up across various age groups. The event concluded with the felicitation of winners and participants amid great enthusiasm, marking the successful completion of the inaugural Soldierathon and reaffirming the shared commitment of the Armed Forces and citizens towards fitness, national unity and respect for the brave soldiers who safeguard the nation.
