Central Bank of India’s Udaipur Regional Office to Be Inaugurated Today
Udaipur: The newly established Regional Office of Central Bank of India in Udaipur will be inaugurated today, March 16, 2026, by the bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Kalyan Kumar.
Until now, the administrative operations of the bank’s branches in the Udaipur region were managed through the Jodhpur Regional Office. With the opening of the new regional office in Udaipur, banking services in the region are expected to become more efficient, faster, and more effective. It will also help streamline administrative work for the branches operating in this area.
At present, Central Bank of India operates around 172 branches in Rajasthan. With the establishment of a new Zonal Office in Jaipur and the Regional Office in Udaipur, the bank is expected to accelerate its activities, expand its branch network, and enhance business growth in the state. Notably, this is the first time a regional office of the bank is being set up in Udaipur, and there are also plans to open new branches in the region.
Branches Under Udaipur Regional Office
Nitin Sharma has been appointed as the Regional Head of the newly established Udaipur Regional Office. The office will oversee branches located in Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Pali, Sirohi, Abu Road, Salumber, Pratapgarh, and Chhoti Sadri.
Dignitaries to Attend the Inauguration
During the inauguration ceremony, Sheeshram Tundwal, Zonal Head of the Delhi Zone, will attend as the Guest of Honor. Other dignitaries expected to be present include Meher Kumar Panigrahi (Zonal Head, Jaipur), Gajraj Singh Meena (Deputy Zonal Head, Jaipur), and Vibhuti Bhushan Jha (Regional Head, Jodhpur). Retired officers, senior officials, employees, and other distinguished guests will also attend the event.
