Events Held to Commemorate Artist Gorvardhan Lal Joshi (Baba) on His Birthday
Udaipur : Various programs were organized to mark the 111th birth anniversary of the renowned Indian painter, Late Gorvardhan Lal Joshi (Baba) at the Baba Art Gallery, Panchwati, which he had founded. Mamta Joshi, Director of Baba Art Gallery, stated that a gathering of prominent local artists was held on this occasion. Additionally, a two-day free art camp is scheduled to be conducted at the gallery from March 16.
On this occasion, Baba’s family members organized bhajan, kirtan, and satsang programs in his memory. To coincide with the celebration, a one-day veterinary health camp was held at Bargaon by the Block Veterinary Health Office. During the camp, internal deworming medications were administered to livestock, and farmers were provided information about upcoming vaccination drives.
The events were attended by artists CP Chaudhary, Naseem Ahmed, Lalit Sharma, and prominent citizens and family members including Anshumali Joshi, Ajay Joshi, Lalit Joshi, Lakshmi Devi, Manjudevi, Kejar Ali, Dilip Galundya, Ashok Bohra, Rajkumar, Rajendra Tabiyaad, Hansraj Gaura, among others.
