“Drug-Free Rajasthan” Program Organized at Maharaja Gangasingh Stadium

Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, a “Drug-Free Rajasthan” program was organized at Maharaja Gangasingh Sports Stadium under the leadership of District Collector Dr. Manju and District Superintendent of Police.

During the event, Mr. Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment administered the drug-free pledge to the attendees. He emphasized that substance abuse is not just an individual or family problem but a concern for the entire society and future generations. He urged every citizen to take responsibility in this fight and pledge to protect their families, communities, and future generations from addiction.

Youth and citizens present at the program collectively vowed not only to stay away from drugs themselves but also to raise awareness among those around them.

The program was attended by dignitaries including Sri Ganganagar MLA Jaydeep Bihani, ADM Administration Subhash Kumar, District Council CEO Girdhar, District Council ACEO Hariram Chahaan, Assistant Director of Women Empowerment Vijay Kumar, District Sports Officer Dr. Surendra Kumar Bishnoi, CMHO Dr. Ajay Singla, Deputy Director of Horticulture Mrs. Preeti Garg, CDEO Arvinder Singh, Ashutosh Gupta, along with officials from various departments, BSF personnel, NCC and Scout members, representatives of social organizations, and a large number of citizens.
