Udaipur — Renowned goldsmith and 121-time world record holder, Professor Dr. Iqbal Sakka has once again showcased his exceptional craftsmanship on the auspicious occasion of Jhulelal Jayanti. He has created the world’s smallest ‘bal roop’ (child form) idol of Lord Jhulelal, crafted intricately in silver along with religious symbols and the national tricolour.
The entire set of artworks measures just 1 centimeter each and can be clearly viewed only with the help of a lens. The miniature composition features Lord Jhulelal seated on a traditional palla fish in the sea, holding a tiny religious scripture in a reading posture. It also includes a saffron flag, a delicate sword, and another floating fish, all crafted with remarkable precision.
Demonstrating extraordinary skill, Dr. Sakka created these detailed miniatures using just 1 gram of silver over a span of three days. The expressions on the child form of Lord Jhulelal and the fine detailing of the fish are clearly visible despite their microscopic size.
Dr. Sakka has decided to dedicate this unique creation to the world-famous Jhulelal temple in Kutch, Gujarat, where an 11-storey grand statue of the deity is currently under construction. He has also requested the temple trust to display these micro artworks in the museum परिसर, allowing devotees from across the world to witness this rare blend of devotion and artistry.
