“Remain Firm on Truth Like Pratap” and Blessing of “Vijayi Bhav”
Udaipur: Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar welcomed Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on his arrival in Udaipur, honoring him in accordance with the traditional Mewari guru-shishya (teacher-disciple) customs.
Calling the occasion a matter of great fortune, Dr. Mewar said that Mewar is renowned across the world for its ideals and its unwavering commitment to the path of truth. He added that the region has always upheld the timeless Indian tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (the guest is like God), thereby enhancing its prestige.
He further noted that the Diwans of Mewar, dedicated to Eklingji, have for over 1,500 years remained steadfast in truth, human values, and duty. This legacy is reflected in the Mewar state emblem, which bears the guiding motto: “Jo dridh rakhe dharm ko, tih rakhe kartar” (One who firmly upholds righteousness is protected by the divine).
Sadhguru also appreciated the warm hospitality extended by Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and described it as truly special.
