Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign Organizes Awareness Program

Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar campaign, a drug awareness program was organized at Rajasthan Guru Kripa Banking Classes, led by District Collector Dr. Manju and Superintendent of Police Harishankar.

Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment described drugs as a slow poison that not only weakens an individual’s health but also engulfs the happiness of the entire family. He emphasized that societal change begins when the youth awaken to the issue. He highlighted that synthetic drugs are increasingly trapping young people, putting not only their careers but their entire lives at risk. He warned that drugs are never a solution—they are the beginning of every problem.

At the conclusion of the program, all students took a pledge to stay drug-free and actively contribute to making society free from addiction.

On this occasion, Sanjay Chahar, Vikas Chahar, and Pawan Sewer emphasized that combating drug addiction is a collective responsibility requiring participation from all sections of society. Police Constable Praveen Kumar also raised awareness among the youth about the Manas Helpline 1933, cyber security, and traffic rules.
