Udaipur to Host Grand Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Celebrations in Hiran Magri
Udaipur: The Mahavir Jain Jagriti Parishad, Hiran Magri, is set to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Lord Mahavir Janma Kalyanak with great enthusiasm and devotion in the suburban area of Hiran Magri.
Providing details, Convenor Arun Kumar Baya informed that as part of the celebrations, a special Bhakti Sandhya and Maha Aarti titled “An Evening in the Name of Lord Mahavir” will be organizedon March 22 at the auditorium of Vidya Niketan School, Sector 4. The event will feature a soulful musical presentation by renowned singer Nisha Hingad. Industrialist Nirmal Malviya of Acme Group will be the chief patron of the program.
Parishad member Sushil Banthia stated that on March 28, a Mehendi and Chaubisi program will be held at the Shwetambar Jain Temple in Sector 4. Founder President Dr. Himmat Lal Vaya added that a Seva (service) activity will be organized on March 29.
On March 30, the celebrations will include a grand flag hoisting ceremony led by social worker Mahendra Taya, followed by a vibrant Shobha Yatra with tableaux and a vehicle rally passing through the main routes of Hiran Magri and culminating at Vidya Niketan School. The आयोजन will be coordinated by Dinesh Nandawat and Hemant Kumar Pamecha.
R.C. Mehta and Rajendra Daga informed that after the rally, a community Swamivatsalya (mass भोज) for Jain families residing in the area will be held at a large pandal at the school ground.
Women’s Wing President Vandana Babel shared that a grand cultural program will be organized on the evening of March 30 by various women’s groups.
The Parishad will also felicitate donors and contributors (Bhamashahs) who have extended support towards the successful आयोजन of the Mahotsav.
The Founder President further mentioned that several other religious and social programs will be conducted during the festival, with active participation from all members of the Parishad.
