Development Must Be Accelerated Through Coordination Between Public Representatives and Officials: In-charge Minister Hemant Meena

Udaipur: Revenue and Colonization Minister and District In-charge Minister Hemant Meena stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to the all-round development of Rajasthan. He noted that the recently presented state budget includes numerous announcements aimed at public welfare and development across the state.

He emphasized that public representatives and government officials must work in coordination to effectively implement these announcements on the ground, ensuring that the vision of public relief and development reaches the common people.

Minister Meena was addressing a district-level review meeting held on Thursday at the Zila Parishad auditorium. The meeting was attended by T. Ravikant, Principal Secretary of the Petroleum and Mines Department and District In-charge Secretary; Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia; Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain; Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena; Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi; District Collector Namit Mehta; Superintendent of Police Amrita Duhan; and social workers Gajpal Singh Rathore and Pushkar Teli.

Extending his wishes on the occasion of the Indian New Year, Minister Meena highlighted that mutual coordination plays a key role in accelerating development. He urged officials to work closely with public representatives to meet the expectations of the people.

Keeping the upcoming summer season in mind, the minister reviewed the status of drinking water availability across the district. He directed officials to conduct ground-level assessments and ensure necessary arrangements in advance. He stated that there is no shortage of budget and stressed the need to ensure adequate drinking water supply for both people and livestock, without any negligence.

The minister also reviewed the LPG distribution system in the district, stating that there is no shortage of domestic gas, and cautioned against misinformation. He instructed officials and public representatives to reassure citizens and ensure smooth distribution of LPG.

He further reviewed activities under the Panch Gaurav Program and provided necessary directions.

Minister Meena and In-charge Secretary T. Ravikant conducted a department-wise review of budget announcements, flagship schemes, and other public welfare initiatives. They emphasized the need for prompt implementation of budget announcements. Public representatives raised concerns regarding public issues, expectations, and pending works during the review.

District Collector Namit Mehta presented updates on the progress of budget announcements and flagship schemes, and assured that pending and ongoing works in the district would be completed at the earliest.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM City Jitendra Ojha, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Zila Parishad CEO Riya Dabi, Girwa SDM Avula Sai Krishna, along with officials from various departments.
