Chief Minister’s Work-From-Home Scheme Provides Livelihood from Home
Sri Ganganagar: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is promoting women’s employment and livelihood through the Chief Minister Work-From-Home Scheme. The initiative aims to enhance women’s contribution to the workforce while making them self-reliant and economically empowered.
The scheme connects women with work-from-home opportunities based on their skills, interests, and capabilities. Skilled women willing to work from home can access opportunities in government departments, autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings, and private organizations. Priority is given to widows, divorcees, women with disabilities, and survivors of violence, enabling them to contribute to family income from the safety and convenience of home.
Women under this scheme can engage in sectors such as tailoring, marketing, jewelry making, telecalling, reselling, and other online work. Private firms offering work-from-home jobs with a remuneration of over ₹5,000 per woman are eligible to receive a training incentive of ₹3,000 per woman to support skill development. Training is provided online, and women can select work according to their interests.
Eligibility for the scheme requires women to be residents of Rajasthan and at least 18 years old. Registration is free, and applications can be submitted through the portal http://mahilawfh.rajasthan.gov.in using an SSO ID. Aadhar and Jan-Aadhar identification are mandatory for enrollment. Upon successful verification of documents by the Women Empowerment Directorate, suitable job opportunities will be provided.
This initiative aims to economically empower women across Rajasthan, offering flexible, safe, and skill-based work-from-home opportunities.
