Unique Celebration of Gangaur–Eid Harmony at Muskan Senior Citizen Club, Udaipur
Udaipur: A unique cultural program celebrating the harmony of Gangaur and Eid was organized at the Muskan Senior Citizen Club in Udaipur.
While describing March as a confluence of various religious celebrations, Patron Kaushalya Gattani, in her presidential address, said that celebrating Gangaur and Eid on the same day reflects the essence of India’s rich and inclusive culture. She also announced a special program to be organized on March 26, 2026, on the occasion of Ram Navami.
Media in-charge Prof. Vimal Sharma informed that the program began with an invocation (Ishwar Vandana) presented by Sangeeta Saundhi, followed by a warm welcome for all members. The event was skillfully conducted by K. K. Tripathi, who invited participants one by one for their performances.
A total of 25 performances brought the festive spirit of March to life, and 132 members present thoroughly enjoyed the event. Notable participants included Nalini Bandhu, Kamal Saundhi, Dilip Gabhrani, Janak Bangad, Ashok Choubisa, Kusum Lata Tripathi, Rekha Verma, D. N. Nagda, Harbinda Dixit, M. P. Mathur, Neelima Bains, Rajkumar Bafna, Varsha Mehta, Kantilal Punmiya, Shantilal Godaliya, Ummed Singh Dulawat, Ajit Singh Khinchi, Bhagwan Das Tilwani, Kalpana Tiwari, and Lalu Ram.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by M. P. Mathur, followed by the national anthem and refreshments.
