JSG ‘Main’ Udaipur Holds Monthly Meeting

Udaipur: The monthly meeting of JSG ‘Main’ Udaipur was held at Vigyan Samiti, Ashok Nagar, under the leadership of President Shri K.S. Nalwaya. The chief guest and keynote speaker for the occasion was Dr. Prem Suman Jain. The meeting began with laughter yoga and chanting of the Navkar Mantra.

The dignitaries on the dais included Chief Guest Dr. Prem Suman Jain, President Shri K.S. Nalwaya, Vice President Shri Kamal Kothari, Immediate Past President Shri Shantilal Mehta, and Secretary Shri Gautam Nagori.

Media in-charge Professor Vimal Sharma informed that the group prayer was conducted by Mrs. Pratibha Surana and her team, while the Federation Sutra was recited by Mrs. Shakuntala Pagaria. The President welcomed and honored the guests and member couples present. Couples celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries in January, February, and March were extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes.

On the occasion of World Water Day, members were congratulated and encouraged to take a pledge for water conservation and protection of water resources to ensure availability for future generations. The President also shared that during the year 2025–26, with the support of members, 168 service activities worth ₹1,30,17,400 were carried out.

Travel coordinator Kamal Kothari presented details regarding the group’s upcoming trip next month. Joint Secretary Rajendra Khokhawat honored members celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with garlands, flowers, and gifts. As part of service activities, Mr. Rajendra Khokhawat and his family donated 10 chairs to the Bhopalpura Satyanarayan Temple premises, while Mrs. C. Suman Chatur donated a folding chair. The chair was handed over to the Medical Equipment Bank operated by the region, in the presence of its President Shantilal Mehta and his team.

The chief guest, Dr. Prem Suman Jain, was welcomed with a traditional uparna and a memento. He later delivered an insightful speech on Jainism and the teachings of Lord Mahavir. Mrs. Usha Dak conducted a quiz based on Lord Mahavir, and prizes were distributed to participants.

The program was anchored by Secretary Gautam Nagori. In the end, Vice President Kamal Kothari expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and all members, concluding the meeting with the national anthem and inviting everyone for a fellowship meal.
