World Water Source Worship Week

On the third day of World Water Worship Week organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Subhash, students and teachers of Vardhman Senior Secondary School, Sundarwas conducted a ceremonial worship of a water tap stand and a traditional panchgat (public water point). During the program, participants raised slogans such as: “Think of tomorrow, think of water; think of every moment of water; tell everyone to open the tap less.”

Shyam Mathpal recited a self-composed poem emphasizing the importance of water, with lines urging: “Life is from water—spread this message to all.” The event was coordinated by Sonu Kanwar, and thanks were expressed by Director Bhagwati Lal Ji Dak.

The second water worship event took place at Maharshi Shiksha Sansthan & Research Institute and Sophia Higher Secondary School, South Sundarwas, where students performed water worship ceremonies. Dignitaries present included Ashutosh Dadhich, Dr. Nandlal Joshi, Uma Karda, Bhavna Jain, Jyoti Purohit, Shamim Khan, Kamini Kumawat, Dwivedi, Nafees Bano, as well as Bharat Vikas Parishad President R.L. Jain, Dr. P.C. Jain, Lokesh Ji Dhakad, Bhupesh Khamesra, and Shyam Mathpal.

The third program was held at Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, where first- and second-year teacher trainees performed water worship at an ancient bawdi (stepwell) near Surajpol, pledging to conserve water. Principal Dr. Hanuman Sahay Sharma and all faculty members participated in the event.

Finally, the ceremony at Mohanlal Sukhadia University was conducted by the Department of Geology, with the worship of a campus tube well in the university garden. Attendees included Dr. Seema Jalan, Dr. D.S. Chauhan, and other faculty members.
