Rajasthan Shines at National Summit of District Mineral Foundation Trust

Udaipur: A national conference on the effective utilization of District Mineral Foundation (DMF) funds in aspirational districts and blocks was held on March 23 and 24 at Scope Convention Centre, New Delhi.

The chief guest at the summit was Union Minister for Mines and Coal, G. Kishan Reddy, while the event was chaired by Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines.

Jyoti Mehta, State Nodal Officer and Additional Director of the Department of Mines and Geology, Rajasthan, informed that Rashmi Rani, Chief Executive Officer of Jaisalmer Zila Parishad, presented on the topic “Model District and Performance Ranking” on behalf of the state. She also actively participated in the interactive session.

Representatives including District Collectors (Chairpersons of DMF Trusts) and officials from the mining departments of 23 states participated in the summit. At the exhibition organized during the conference, Rajasthan showcased its innovations and achievements through two dedicated stalls, displaying films and promotional materials highlighting the work of DMF trusts across various districts.

The Union Minister and participants appreciated the innovations and initiatives undertaken by Rajasthan under the District Mineral Foundation Trust.
