Udaipur: Talented children from the Yoga Sidhha program performed yogic dances showcasing a variety of yoga asanas at the auditorium of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University. The event was part of the cultural evening of the All India Asana and Yoga Proficiency Class organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The program was inaugurated with lamp lighting and flower offerings before the idols of Mother India and Goddess Sharda by Subramaniam, Co-Physical Education Head of Tamil Nadu Prant and All India Asana Head; Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Vice-Chancellor of the University; Shrivardhan, Regional Pracharak Head of Rajasthan; and Prabhat Ameta, All India Yoga Head. Umesh Shrimali welcomed the guests by presenting them with ceremonial scarves.
The children performed yoga dances to Bharatanatyam choreography based on the praises of Lord Krishna, Adiyogi Shiva, the Gurus of the Nath tradition, and other songs rooted in Indian culture. They also demonstrated purification techniques (Shodhan Karm) described in yoga literature.
Performances were given by Taruna Vaishnav, Kartik Jaiswal, Manya Sharma, Yogita Swarnkar, Shruti Dave, Gunwant Singh, Chirag Parmar, Shivraj Acharya, Jasvina Sanal, and Jaswant. All participants were honored by the guests with ceremonial scarves and mementos. The program was coordinated by Pushpdeep.
