Grand and Successful आयोजन of JISO Jain Unity Mega Campaign; Jain Unity Song Launched
The Jain Unity Mega Campaign organized in Mumbai was successfully conducted with great enthusiasm, energy, and a strong spirit of unity. On this occasion, distinguished representatives from all four major Jain sects graced the event as special guests:
Shwetambar – Shri Bakulbhai Zaveri Jain (Founder President, Jain International Council; Trustee, Anandji Kalyanji Trust, Mumbai), Shri Pravinji Chhogmalji Jain (President, Shri Vile Parle Shwetambar Murtipujak Jain Sangh)
Digambar – Shri Jamnalalji Hapawat Jain (Founder, Digambar Global Jain Mahasabha), Shri R.K. Jain (Hyderabad) (Founder, All India Old Temple Renovation Trust)
Terapanth – Shri Kishanji Dagaliya Jain (Former President, Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Mahasabha), Shri Ganpatji Kothari Jain (President, Rajasthan Foundation – Mumbai)
Sthanakwasi – Shri Ashwin Mehta Jain (Advocate, Supreme Court; younger brother of Harshad Mehta), Shri Kishorji Khabia Jain (Founder Member, JITO)
The Founder Chairman of JISO, Shri Suresh Punamia, emphasized in his address that the time has come for all sects to unite on a common platform to protect Jain संघ (organizations), ensure the safety of saints, and safeguard the rights of devotees.
All dignitaries supported the Common Minimum Program and conveyed a strong message of unity. On this historic occasion, the “Jain Ekta Manch” was officially announced.
Going forward, representatives of all Jain organizations and national institutions will come together under the Jain Ekta Manch to conduct continuous programs and awareness campaigns, further strengthening unity within the community.
This event delivered a powerful message to the entire Jain society: understanding the needs of the time, the community must unite and progress together by connecting through the JISO Digital Platform.
Key Highlights of the Event
1. Concern Over Current Challenges
Speakers expressed serious concern about current challenges, especially declining population and other issues facing the Jain community. It was emphasized that a stronger Jain society contributes to a stronger nation, as the community has always played a significant role in nation-building—through economic contributions (taxes), social service, and national welfare activities.
2. 18-Month Journey of the Campaign
Chairman Shri Suresh Punamia shared detailed insights into various activities conducted under the Jain Unity Mega Campaign over the past 18 months. With blessings from revered Jain Gurudevs across sects, the initiative has strengthened trust and cooperation among all four sects.
3. Launch of World Jain Unity Documentary
A grand release of an inspiring documentary film based on global Jain unity was conducted. This initiative aims to connect the worldwide Jain community through the JISO digital platform.
4. Launch of Jain Unity Song
On the auspicious occasion of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, a special Jain Unity Song was launched for Rath Yatra celebrations.
5. International Sakal Jain Federation – Digital Registration Initiative
A powerful presentation was given on the digital registration of Jain organizations (temples) worldwide. This initiative aims to unify all Jain institutions on a single digital platform, strengthening global communication, coordination, and unity.
Conclusion
At the end of the program, all attendees took a pledge to actively contribute to the Jain Unity Mega Campaign and provide a new direction to society.
JISO General Secretary Shri Mahendra Jain expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries and participants for their valuable support and cooperation.
