MoU Signed Between Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University and UltraTech Cement; Center of Excellence to be Established
Udaipur: Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UltraTech Cement Limited to strengthen industry-academia collaboration. The primary objective of this agreement is to provide students with advanced technical knowledge and practical exposure aligned with industry requirements.
University President, Prof. Hemant Kothari, stated that under this collaboration, a “Center of Excellence” will be established focusing on advanced building materials and sustainable development. The center will facilitate technical seminars, workshops, training programs, and industrial visits for students and faculty. Additionally, the initiative will promote joint research, technical exchange, and skill development activities, helping civil engineering students stay updated with the latest technologies and industry practices.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Dilendra Hiran, Chairman of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who highlighted the importance of such collaborations in enhancing students’ learning experiences. Dr. Mukesh Shrimali, Director of Pacific Polytechnic College, emphasized that the MoU will act as a bridge between academia and industry, creating better training and employment opportunities for students.
During the session, Mr. Hitesh Sharma, Regional Head – Marketing, provided detailed insights into the products and company profile of Aditya Birla Group, along with emerging industry trends and opportunities. Mr. Manish Garg, Regional Head – Marketing, elaborated on the “Center of Excellence for Sustainable Construction Materials,” encouraging students to focus not only on theoretical knowledge but also on practical application.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Neeraj Shrimali, expressing gratitude to all the guests and participants.
