Udaipur Hosts Its First Grand Tech Event: ‘Google-AI Lakecity Hackathon 2026’ Concludes Successfully

Udaipur: Marking a new milestone in the world of technology, the Google-sponsored AI Lakecity Hackathon 2026, organized in collaboration with the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, was successfully held at the iconic City Palace. This was the first large-scale tech event of its kind in the city.

In today’s modern era, people increasingly rely on Google and artificial intelligence (AI) for quick, efficient results and support in various human tasks. The event aimed to promote innovation, creativity, and technical excellence in the field of AI. Hackathons are fast-paced, collaborative coding events where developers and students create AI-powered solutions using technologies like machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent agents to solve real-world problems.

During the first phase of the event, Foundation CEO Dr. Mayank Gupta explained that the primary objective of the hackathon was to provide a platform for talented developers, students, and innovators from across the country to showcase their skills through AI-based solutions. A detailed presentation session was held at the Sabha Shiromani Darikhana within the City Palace, where attendees learned about AI tools, their applications, and benefits. The second phase included keynote sessions and jury rounds conducted in the foundation’s conference hall.

The उद्घाटन session featured an introduction to the hackathon, jury members, and a briefing for participants. Organizers described the event as an important step toward fostering technological innovation and collaboration, welcoming participants and visitors with enthusiasm. After multiple evaluation rounds and deliberations by the jury, winners were announced and awarded.
